Kylee and Wyatt

Kylee has grown so much since the beginning of the school year. I bought her all new jeans then cause she didn't fit in her other ones. Now, those jeans are too short and a bit too tight in the waist. I can't believe how much she has grown! I guess I'll be buying her some new jeans this weekend.

Kylee has been talking about going to Texas for the past week. She is so cute. She asked where grandma, grandpa, meme and uncle Lance lived. I told her that they lived in Texas. She was so excited and told me that Miss Elizabeth lives in Texas! She is very excited to see everyone and play with her best friend Kaley (who should be born any day now!!)

Everyone knows that Kylee is going to Lynch for school, and we all know about the drama this past year. The only reason why I kept her in there is cause her teacher, Miss Elizabeth, is wonderful and Kylee is very attached to her. We planned on keeping Kylee at Lynch for next year, but as of now, Lynch will most likely not have preschool after this year. There is only one other option for Kylee as far as preschools go and its at the CDC on base. Its called child enrichment I think. Its considered a preschool, but its not as structured as Lynch. I think its more like a 'mother's day out' thing. They go there and play, do crafts, sing, learn a few things, the basics. James does not want Kylee to go there because he feels she needs something that is more like school. But if that's our only option and it gets her out of the house, with other kids, and she learns something, I think its a good idea. I will be sad to see Lynch not opening their doors next year, but to be honest... they did this to themselves.

Wyatt is doing very well with soy milk. His eczema is about gone! I have used creams off and on for the past week, definitely not like I should be. The doctor suggested applying it 3 times a day, but I only put it on him after a shower. (The doctor suggested less baths/showers and using no soap as well till it clears up.) So, he gets the creams 2 or 3 times a week now, but Silk milk every day. His skin is SO soft! I can't believe how fast it has improved. There are a few spots that are still a little dry though, but those were the worst spots he had to begin with. I can't wait for Wyatt's next appointment so I can thank that doctor. Both of the kids have had bad skin and no one has ever told me about the milk sensitivity.

He is learning a lot of his body parts and tries to repeat the words. Its very cute when he'll point to our eye (actually, poke it) and say 'eye'. There are some words he says often like 'please' and 'thank you', 'juice', 'ball', 'bye-bye', 'go', 'shoes and socks', 'night-night', 'dog and gizzy', and then of course 'daddy' and 'mama'. But he's said 'Kylee' and 'sissy', 'shower', 'up', and so much more. He just doesn't talk often. When he gets hurt he'll say ouch, and we'll tell him to shake it off (just like we do with Kylee). He'll try so hard to shake it off... its so cute. He loves to dance to music and try to sing songs. He is getting pickier with food though, but still likes his veggies. He also likes giving high fives and will say five when he wants one or we ask for it.

The kids are just growing so quickly :( I need to find my camera and take some more recent pics of them. Sorry that I have been slacking on updating pictures to my flickr. I will try to do some of that this weekend.
