Kylee's party was last night. The party itself went pretty well, but preparing for it didn't go as smoothly. We were really busy during the day with cleaning and getting the snacks and cake/cupcakes ready. James mowed the yard while I did most of the stuff inside. I made a cute little cake and lots of cupcakes. I had the cupcakes multi colors. Some were purple, some where pink, and the others were orange. I put cute little flowers on them, stripes, swirls and dots. While I had them on a 3 tiered plates and they looked SO cute. But I was wiping the counters around them and accidentally knocked them all down. I caught them on myself, but they were all ruined. Thankfully the cake was big enough to serve the party, but everyone got small slices.
We had lots of fresh fruit, veggies, and some chips at the party. Most of the guys hung out inside while the moms and kids all played in the backyard. The kids had a blast playing with the toys, playhouse, and going down the slide. After a while we went inside to open presents. Kylee got some wonderful presents from everyone. She got a my little pony baby doll with a bottle, some puzzles, a my little pony nursery and bath tub, a ball that you sit on and bounce on, a breakfast playdoh set, more 3D chalk, and a Hello Kitty paint set. She also got the Computer Cool School with some games, dress up clothes, a water sprinkler, some bath stuff, and art supplies from MawMaw, PawPaw, Auntie Autumn, and Ean, but we let her open those the day before.
After that we had cake and ice cream. Wyatt was actually so cute for this part. James was holding the cake at Kylee's eye level. Once I lit the candles Wyatt ran over and immediately blew them it. It was so funny and he just busted up laughing. So we lit them again and he tried to do it again! He threw a fit when we didn't let him do it for a third time and cried for the Happy Birthday song since we were holding him back. But after Kylee blew them out, we re-lit them so Wyatt could blow them out. He thought it was so funny!
After that we all ate outside, the kids played some more, and people went home. It was a great birthday and Kylee had a blast.
