socks

So, I'm working on a pair of socks now. Lord help me! Last night it took me about 1 1/2 hrs just to cast on and I still ended up ripping it out. Maybe I shouldn't have had a drink BEFORE I started the socks, but after would have been better. lol. Anyhow, last night I made mistake after mistake. So I decided to put it down for the night and start this morning. I think I made one mistake while joining the yarn but I'll fix it when they are done. So far the cuff is looking good and the yarn knits so pretty. I really like the colorway. I bought the yarn, which is 65% merino and 35% bamboo and SO soft, at the Yarn Stash in town. The owner, Amy, dyed it herself with leftover dye and it turned out so pretty. I'll be sure to post some pictures later, but for now, I'm off to knit.
