James' Surgery

James is having a pin taken out of his foot tomorrow morning. I think I posted something about this when he had the originally surgery back in April, but I'll explain again. The doctor had to place a pin that went across the joing in his foot to stabalize the joint. I guess after surgery it was a bit more wobbley than normal. Because of the pin keeping his ankle from moving, he has not been able to walk without the CAM walker on. His doctor has been out of town for several weeks, otherwise the pin would have been taken out a week or two ago. We'll have to be at the hospital tomorrow morning by 7... with both kids in tow. They'll use general anesthesia again, but the surgery is expected to last less than an hour. He'll have to pee and eat before he is discharged, hopefully around lunch time. A few days in his CAM walker and possible using crutches again, then he'll try to walk with a regular shoe on...which we are all excited for that!

About the kids, they have to come with us because I can't find anyone to watch them. I had no problem taking Wyatt with me, but I wanted Kylee to stay with someone that morning. All of our friends are out of town, lucky them. The only person who is in town and Jenn, and she has a few family members staying with her and thinks it would be too hectic to watch Kylee. So, hopefully both kids will behave for me tomorrow morning. I'm sure it will be a long day for both of them, but atleast they can come home and take a nap.

I'll post an update about how his surgery went tomorrow sometime.

I'm sure James' surgery will go well today. As for having to take both kids, I know how creative you are and I have no doubts that you will keep them entertained.
