Growth Spurt

Kylee must have gone through a growth spurt recently, because all of a sudden she doesn't fit in her 3T winter clothes from 6 months ago. Last year we bought 3T's and they were a bit big on her. We thought she would be able to wear them again this year as well. That's how its always been for her. I was going through her clothes last night to see what we'll have to buy her and hardly anything fit her. She had several Children Place jeans that fit, but about 5 Old Navy jeans are too tight in the waist. Several of her Old Navy, Target and Wal-mart shirts are too snug for my liking as well. And some of the Fisher Price outfits look bad on her. The pants are a bit too big and the shirts are too short. Some of the clothes though are meant to fit tight and I don't like that look at all.

Looks like we'll have to do a lot of shopping for her this year. I do buy in advance so we have a few 4T stuff already. She tried on her 4T jeans from Old Navy, but they were a bit big. Maybe I'll give them a wash and see how it looks after. I also need to find some winter dresses and tights for her. She really loves dresses and if I can't find any for the winter, she's going to have a hard time. lol.

Wyatt is good on clothes though. I might need to buy some pants for him, but for the most part he's good. I buy in advance and like to shop at garage sales. Plus, Jenn gave me a lot of clothes that Carter used to wear.

Maybe you can find some jumpers for Kylee. They always look really cute with tights in winter. And I agree with you that the "tight" look is not good for little girls.
