Fishing and Matchbox 20

Saturday we went fishing at Lake Darling, which is about 30 minutes NW of base. It was a nice area. They kept it mowed back, had some shade and picnic tables. Wyatt was pretty fussy, but I fed him lunch and he did ok for a while. I had to take him on a walk in the stroller to calm him down at one point. He eventually fell asleep. Once he fell asleep I finally was able to fish some. I caught a fish within 5 minutes of fishing at a particular spot. I was so excited. :) I'm not sure what it was exactly though. Anyhow, we threw it back. James didn't catch anything, but that's ok. Shortly after that, Wyatt woke up and was pretty mad. So we decided to head home. We fished for about 2 hrs though, so that's pretty good.

That night James watched the kids and Xavier while me and Arissa went to see Matchbox twenty at the state fair which happens to always be in Minot. It was a really good show... minus all the mean drunk people pushing and being rude. A couple in front of us were pretty wasted off of beer and other things. The guy threw a punch at someone else too. Other than some drama and a few stinky people, it was a really good show. We were about 7-8 ft away from the stage I think. So we got a great view.

James went fishing again today (Sunday) with a few friends on a boat. He rolled in around 11 pm. But he caught several northern pikes and they other guys caught a few of those and some walleye. James brought home some walleye to fry tomorrow. I guess I'll try it. I don't have any pictures of him fishing today yet. But when I get them, I"ll definitely post them.
