We had lots of snacks there. There was chips, pretzels, fruit plate, veggie plate, and pigs in the blanket (Thanks for the suggestion Jackie!!) I heard the pigs in the blankets were great. I only got half of one. I was too busy to eat. I didn't even get any fruit. :( Then there was sprite, tea, pink lemonade, water, mountain dew and apple juice. I didn't get a drink either. :(
We sang happy birthday to Kylee and then had cake and ice cream. (I didn't get either during the party, but after the party I got to try a few bites of the cake) Everyone loved the cake. I made the cake by myself. I used 4 boxes of cake. Two of those boxes made one 12 x 12 circle cake, and then I made two heart cakes. I obviously used one of the heart cakes for the heart. The other heart cake I cut out the hands and feet and ears. The circular cake I cut the face out of. I also used 4 or 5 things of icing. I used jelly beans for the eyes, nose and #3 on the heart. I used my cake decorating set I got for Christmas this past year for the bow, whiskers and some touch ups.
Then Kylee opened her presents. She got so much stuff. Lots of dress up clothes and accessories, some little peoples, cute stuff from Disneyland from mike and Arissa. She also got several look and find books... one of which is way too hard for it... its challenging for us even! She got a play doh caddy set, a t-ball set... and lots of other stuff that I have to find a place for now :)
After that we had fun with the pinata. I had all the kids take a few swings at it before I busted it open. The kids LOVED it. It was a lot of fun to watch, and of course, the kids loved all the candy they got.
Kylee had a really great party and had a blast with her friends. It was a great birthday!!
