Wyatt's new trick and some other blurbs

So, Kylee, Wyatt and I were putting away clothes in Kylee's room today. Well, Wyatt was playing with a car, Kylee was playing with her new easter eggs and I was putting away clothes. Kylee usually helps me, but today she wouldn't. Anyhow, apparently Kylee's room is much more interesting than his toys in the living room. So he was determined to get around that room to see what he can get into. He learned to go from laying on his belly to sitting. AND somehow can make it from one side of the room to the other without actually crawling. My problems are just now starting! Now I have to make sure all of Kylee's little toys are up, which is almost impossible cause I am always finding them in wierd places around the house. I guess all choke-ables will be put up for a while. And of course, after I put him down to bed, he woke up several minutes later screaming. I go into his room and that little booger is sitting in his crib. Now, James has to lower the crib again. I know he can pull himself up on things because that is how he kept hurting himself on the Fisher Price Sing and Stage that we sent back to the company. Wyatt is also always on his hands and knees moving backwards. Eventually he'll figure out to go forwards, but right now whatever he is doing is obviously working for him.

I bought some more diapers the other day. James keeps telling me we need more. I know we need to find a good night time diaper. I have one that I like right now, but I don't do laundry every day. On the day that it is dirty, I take my chances and use something that only works for us occasionally. Or, I put him in pampers. He must be used to cloth cause after a night of pampers his bum is really red looking. Anyhow, so I bought some pre-folds to try out. They are really cheap and I have heard great things about them. These are the ones that you think of when you hear about cloth diapers. Anyhow, they are diaper-service quality, so they aren't the gerber kind. AND you don't need pins for them. I guess you could use them, but i don't want to. Instead they have this thing called a snappi. This system will work great for us at home. I won't use it on the go though, I'll stick with my All-in-Ones or Pockets.

Well, I guess I need to get back to organizing the kids' toys. I've taken a long enough break.

Before I go.... Mom and Grandma, did ya'll see the lunar eclipse the other night? We really coudln't see anything :( Next time a full lunar eclipse can be seen will be Dec 2010.

No lunar eclipse here... it was completely cloudy. If it had only been the night before it would have been beautiful!
