5 Yrs ago today, James and I said our wedding vows at the local Methodist Church in town. We originally planned on getting married sometime in August 2003. But, I think he was scheduled to deploy around that time. So we decided to just have a small, simple ceremony in Jan and then have one for our family later down the road. (which will probably not happen by the way) So, on a Monday, we talked to the Pastor of the Church about moving up the date. He usually likes to do marriage counseling before hand, but apparently he knew we wouldn't need it. Anyhow, so that following Friday, on a UTE day, (a day off given by the base) we had a few friends to witness our marriage. A member of the Church offered to play the organ for us, which was really nice. Anyhow, so, it's been 5 wonderful years. With many, many more to come!
I was trying to look for a picture of us on our wedding day, but I cannot find my mom's older blog. I think she has a picture of us on there.
