I made these last night for kylee. They are called Babylegs. Wyatt has a few pairs that I bought him so diaper changes are easier around the house. That way he doesn't have to wear pants all the time. They are also great under his pants when we go places, keeps his legs warmer. Anyhow, Kylee has always liked Wyatt's, so i decided to make her a pair. They were once my socks. I cut off the foot and sewed on a new cuff. It was pretty fun and easy to do. (Mom, do you recognize these?)My next project is to make Kylee a tutu for her to play dress up with. I am also going to buy some silk, dye it, and make some silk wings for her. After that, I'll make a sock monkey for both of the kids.

Do I recognize the socks or the concept of baby legs? I remember making something similar for you guys that one time it was so cold and you all wanted to play outside. But I didn't sew them up after I cut of the feet! I don't think you guys wore them but the one time either. Anyway, they were called 'leg warmers' back then.

I ment the socks. You got them for me for Christmas a few years ago I think. They didn't fit me well, so I recycled them. :) Have you seen that legwarmers with sandles and a skirt are the 'in' thing now?!
