Freezing

It is SO cold here. Usually we have this kind of weather in February, but apparently it came early. Today the temperature was probably -20 with a windchill of -47. They won't close schools until it is below -50, so Kylee's school was still opened. I would not have taken her, but she begged to go.

James had some bad luck with his car today. He was driving it around like usual with no problem all day. It must have been sitting for only a few hours when he tried to start it when he was leaving work around 4. It wouldn't start. So he lift the hood to jump start it and saw that the battery was frozen solid. There was ice all over the top of it. Some of the guys James works with said once that happens it won't ever be able to hold a charge. So now we have to buy a new battery. Walmart was all out of them tonight so we'll have to check the gas station on base tomorrow. On my way home from work I saw 4 different vehicles getting a jump start, that was from the front gate to our house! A very short distance!!

Tomorrow it will be pretty cold too, hopefully not as cold as today though.
